The Homework books aim to make homework a positive learning experience, reinforcing core subjects (English, maths and science) and cross-curricular thinking skills, through enjoyable practice activities. Pull-out answers make marking quick and easy and give children the chance to evaluate their own progress.
Book 3 is aimed at Year 5 pupils (ages 9-10) and includes: literacy – reading comprehension/nouns and adjectives/plural words/spelling; maths – money/2-d shapes/fractions/number problems/vertical addition & subtraction (with borrowing & carrying)/multiplication squares; and science – the earth and what it is made of/the earth’s atmosphere/gravity.
